5 ways which the internet has revolutionized living

1) Blogging: thanks to the internet, we now have free blogs and the capacity to write whatever we like, whenever we want. It costs us nothing, and on top of this enthusiasts from all over the world can connect and comment on each other’s sites. It’s miraculous and amazing and there really is nothing whatsoever bad about it.

2) Fashion: fashionistas are now blazing their own trail through the fashion world. Before it was all about who you knew and if you knew nobody then nobody listened. Now? It couldn’t be more different. Bloggers are creating their own work, putting it out there and making a living ALL ON THEIR OWN. Now that’s reason for celebration, I think.

3) News: it’s now everywhere all at once. Need to know what’s happening on the other side of the world in ten minutes? You can find out with ease and that is pretty astonishing…

4) Hobbies: one of the greatest influences the internet has had is on bringing like-minded people together. Now, you can communicate with people who like things you do, and you can even do it if you like something that isn’t very popular yet. Yo!

5) Fun: there are tons of fun things to do online, from online dating to playing games to downloading movies to seeing what your hair would look like when cut by a famous hairdresser. I even found a programme the other day that allowed me to experience retail shop fitting and model my own shop. Seriously, is this a good time to be alive or what?

How Did People Live?

Seated at my desk, on my lunch break and finally able to not think about work, I go online and immediately find myself able to access numerous videos, images, and text – all for free. Not only that but I can look up all kinds of data (thanks to the data protection act making a lot of it publically available so all you have to do is click a button) and download PDFs which contain all kinds of illustrations. Thanks to Facebook I can also get in touch with someone on the other side of the world, as well as watch live feed which is being streamed in the very moment. With all the progress the Internet has opened our civilization up to, it seems almost inconceivable how people managed to live before it was invented.

When you think about it, the Internet is responsible for curing diseases – allowing more scientists to work together, from all over the world, sharing information – and connecting presidents to other presidents. It’s also a fantastic educational tool which allows people to learn whatever they would like. So in many ways, aside from actually physically interacting with people, there are very few things that you can’t do online.

If you’ve not yet got properly online or are still pondering if you even want to get more involved than you are, just know that whatever you are looking for you will find it out there somewhere. Paternity Tests , data, statistics – all open to you.

Surely it now seems criminal not to take advantage, doesn’t it?
